- The Kalideos program set up by CNES
makes available remote sensing reference databases to the scientific community.
In the framework of this programme, three databases have been implemented to support the integration of satellite imagery in basic or applied research projects :
- Adam (Fundulea site, Romania), devoted to the agricultural field and the space data assimilation process within agronomic models,
- Isle-Reunion, the multi-thematic purpose of which makes it possible to cover quite varied topics, from land use analysis to vulcanology,
- Littoral (Arcachon basin, France), which addresses issues more particularly related to coastal areas.
The Kalideos programme benefits from the ISIS programme for the regular updates of the SPOT images database.
Consequently, before submitting an ISIS project, make sure that SPOT products are not available in the framework of the Kalideos programme.
