How to submit

1. Access to ISIS programme
You can register to the ISIS Programme on the ISIS web server (http://www.isis-cnes.fr/) in order to get a user name and a password. This login gives you access to a request form to order Spot data. The login will be sent to you by electronic mail.
Please keep username and password for future connections.
2. Conditions of eligibility
To be eligible for ISIS, the applicant and its research project must meet specific criteria.

3. ISIS application form file
3.1. Request form file The ISIS application file is composed of several forms with compulstory fields to fill in:
  • Identification of the application,
  • Experience of the applicant,
  • Project outline: partners or other users, duration, themes, areas of interest,
  • Project description: title, objectives, methodology, expected results and publications, implementation plan,
  • Requested SPOT products (archive scenes, programming, 3D products).
The request form must be completed fully, we recommend taking care to fill in all compulsory fields. Please provide all information required to assess your application request. In your own interest, please be as precise as possible.

For Spot archive scenes, please use the SIRIUS Online Catalogue and the Spot Image online catalogue in order to specify the full satellite image ID number. Please contact Spot Image for more information on Spot products:

Due to budget constraints, and in order to satisfy as many users as possible, please restrict your request to a limited number of Spot data.

Once the request form is completed (all compulsory fields filled in), click on the “Submit your application file” hyperlink.

Any change in the Spot product chosen requires specific authorisation from the ISIS Co-ordinator. The applicant must file a justified request specifically to the ISIS Coordinator. Such requests should remain exceptional.

For the 3D products line: this demand is subject to French government authorisation. Before requesting these products you have to contact Spot Image which will realised a feasibility study. This study is mandatory and will give you all necessary parameters to the constitution of your application file. Any requests for changes should be placed before validation of your application file by the ISIS Coordinator.


3.2. Assesment delay Your application file will be assessed within 1 month. During this period, ISIS team experts may contact you for further information.

The request forms submitted will be reviewed by a Scientific Committee and pre-selected application files will be validated by the ISIS Coordinator within 1 month from the date of submission.


3.3. Contact For any communication, please only use the ISIS user interface (click on the letter picture), as no other means of communication will be taken into account due to archival storage constraints.
